Costs

Our standard charge is $5.00 per certified letter plus the Postage and USPS Certified fees. Our fee included the letters, envelopes and services. The charge for a small number of letters may be a little higher, since it is the same work required even though the quantity is smaller. Likewise, the cost for large quantities may be lower, since we can achieve greater efficiencies.

Let’s assume that you pay your staff $15 per hour, plus standard benefits of vacation time, personal time, holidays and perhaps medical benefits, which add up to at least 30% or an adjusted rate of $19.50 per hour. If you add in the time it takes to print three runs of address labels and photocopying letters and instructions you’ll see that your staff is probably completing only four Certified letters an hour or approximately $5.00 per letter. The same as our charges.

If you pay your staff more than $15/hour (approx. $31,000 annually), as you probably do, you actually save money using our service. Plus our service utilizes the Post Office’s electronic return receipt which saves you an additional $1.15 in postage, reducing the our effective charge to $3.85 a Certified letter.

Want to save even more money? We can send out a first mailing non-Certified. There’s still a cost, but your postage is roughly $4.50 less per letter. Then let us know who has not responded to the mailing and we will send out only those letters Certified Mail.
